Dr. Amanda Taylor has led 12 SIS graduate students on this program where they have addressed three main projects: creation of an educational program evaluation toolkit to assess a teacher leadership development program, creation of a parent-community leadership development program and identifying a strategic process for the transition of school partnerships after receiving Dignitas support. The participants will have spent time consulting with Dignitas staff both remotely from Washington, DC as well as spending a brief period of time in Nairobi to visit the Dignitas offices and local partners.

The group has recently returned from their travel to Kenya and has presented their findings to their partners at Dignitas.  This blog is a space for them to share their overall experiences with the practicum and their time in Kenya with the greater SIS community.
